Sunday morning services on 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th October start at the usual time of 11:00am. On Sunday 4th October, we have our annual Harvest Thanksgiving Service. Please see the separate news article about that. On Sunday 11th October, our church Guild will have their act of dedication during the service. On Sunday 25th October, the service will be slightly shorter as there will be a congregational meeting immediately after the service to discuss a 5-year Action Plan

You might recall that earlier this year, one of our ancient arched stained-glass windows on the lower level of the church sustained signficant storm damage. After a period of time it was removed to be repaired by a specialist company, and then recently reinstalled looking fantastic. The ABC is an ecumenical initiative of long standing and its current members include the two Church of Scotland charges in Barrhead, Neilston Parish Church, the Roman Catholic Church, the United Reformed Church and the Salvation Army. Just to give advance notice that the Annual Remembrance Sunday morning service will be held on Sunday 8th November 2026. The service will start at the earlier time of 10:45am to allow time for the silence at 11:00am. After the service, there will be a parade along the Main Street to the Neilston War Memorial for a further act of remembrance there.
