Lent, Holy Week and Easter 2026.....

The 40 days of Lent began on Wednesday 18th February.

Palm Sunday is on 29th March.

Join us for morning worship at 11:00am in

Neilston Parish Church. This service will be led by

Mr John Spooner, Reader, Church of Scotland.

Holy Week services begin on Monday 30th March.

Across all of the churches in the Neilston and Barrhead area we have planned a number of services and events for Holy Week.

Please come along to any or all of these services and events to celebrate our unity and diversity.

On Monday 30th March at 7:00pm there will be a joint service in Neilston Parish Church. As our own minister, Matthew, is absent for health reasons, this service will be led by Rev. Tim Mineard.

On Tuesday 31st March at 7:00pm there will be joint service in Barrhead Bourock Parish Church.

On Wednesday 1st April at 12:00noon there will be a joint service in Barrhead Salvation Army Church.

On Wednesday 1st April at 7:00pm we have an evening service in Neilston Parish Church.

This service will be led by Rev. Steven Henderson.

On Thursday 2nd April at 7:00pm we will be holding a

Maundy Thursday Communion Service in

Neilston Parish Church.

This service will be led by Rev. Douglas Robertson.

Good Friday 3rd April:

Walk of Witness leaving from

Barrhead St. John's RC Church at 10:30am.

Stations of the Cross Service at 7:00pm in

Barrhead St. John's RC Church.

Easter Day, Sunday 5th April:

9:00am early morning Communion service outside

Barrhead Bourock Parish Church.

11:00am morning service in Neilston Parish Church and we will celebrate the sacrament of baptism during the service. This service will be led by Rev. Jeanette Peel.
