Neilston & Barrhead joint church services.....

Updated: 5 days ago

During July and August 2024 we are holding some joint Sunday morning

services between the three churches in Neilston and Barrhead.

*Sunday 14th July 2024 at 10:30am:

A joint service in Barrhead St. Andrew's Parish Church.

*Sunday 28th July 2024 at 10:30am:

At joint service in Barrhead Bourock Parish Church.

Sunday 4th August 2024 at 11:00am:

A joint service in Neilston Parish Church.

*On these two Sundays when the joint services are in Barrhead,

obviously there will be no live stream service on our

YouTube channel for Neilston but you may wish to check the

websites for the other churches for any live stream services from there:

If you are in Neilston and need a lift to the either of the joint services

in Barrhead, please let us know and we will try to arrange that for you.

If you have a car and can provide transport to either of the

Barrhead services, please also let us know.

Unless otherwise intimated, all Sunday morning services at

11:00am in June, and 7th & 21st July, and 11th, 18th & 25th August

will be held in Neilston Parish Church as usual.

Looking further ahead, we may be arranging further joint services

or a series of pulpit exchanges between the three churches.

This is all part of the planning for major changes for the

future of the three churches in Neilston and Barrhead.

You may have heard about much wider significant plans for the national

Church of Scotland, presbyteries and local parish churches rationalising the number of buildings and the reduction in the number of available ministers. Neilston and Barrhead are not exempt from these plans and we will be

publishing more information about this in the coming months.
