Pastoral Care Activity

 

Holy Communion — An Elder will visit members at a convenient time.  He or she will make sure you know when a communion service is taking place.  If you would like communion at home or in hospital, please contact your Elder of the Minister.

 

Mid-Week Service — This is in the Church Halls, September to April on Wednesdays at 10:30 am. 

 

Housebound — A Recorded Ministry is available where a CD of the Sunday Sermon can be delivered to your home on a weekly basis.

 

Church Flowers — These are delivered by volunteers to those who are ill or bereaved and members who are not able to get out and about.

 

Contact Magazine — This is a quarterly Neilston Parish publication giving local Church news and can be delivered to your door.

 

Social Evening — A Spring Cabaret Evening is held in May.  Other events are at present being arranged and will be announced in the Pew Leaflet and Contact Magazine.

 

Hospital Visits — At present undertaken by the Minister.

 

Child Protection Co-ordinators — Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.  Contact either Mr R Junner or Mrs Barbara Wilson.  See Contact Us for further information.

 

Coffee Mornings — These are announced in the Pew Leaflet and Contact Magazine.  These are organised by various organisations, including the Stewardship Committee, a fundraising arm of the Church.

 

Other Services — These are being reviewed and added to this list.  Please review on a regular basis.
